Wind is the movement of air that is impossible to see but can be felt on our skin. Wind can be experienced by simply going outside, turning on a fan or blowing air with your mouth. During this Invitation to Create, children explored how they can create wind with a straw and their own breath. Through this art process, they are able to explore invisible forces and motions and discover what designs can be created with wind and materials.
For fine motor practice, we drew swirls for wind. They colored and cut the letter Cc and glued in their journals.
