We started our week talking about kindness. We read Kindness is Cooler Mrs. Ruler. We discussed what it means to be kind and how we should treat others. I put all the kids' names in a bucket, each child picked a name and then made a card for the person they selected. Once the card was completed they were asked to write one thing they like about the person they picked. Of course, I helped them write their sentence!
We have a flower shop set up, complete with flowers, name tags, order forms and cards! Their is a station set up to make cards, fill out order forms, florist station and a cashier. The pics are not the best but they sure have had fun in the flower shop this week! To be honest looks like a tornado came through our flower shop! But that is ok as long as they are having fun and using their imaginations.
We made rainy day pictures. Each child painted a tray with blue paint and then pressed a piece of white paper on the tray and lifted off. I showed them how they all are different!
We painted with flowers!
