We added a Valentine's sensory bin to our collection. The kids have enjoyed digging for treasures in the red, pink and white rice this week. Today the kiddos worked so hard on their "Love" projects. I love their facial expressions when they are creating! They are very excited to show mom and dad!
Sensory bins are excellent for the kids and so beneficial. Touch, sound, fine motor practice and sight; all sensory bins seem to be visually appealing that is what makes the kiddos dig in! We recently added a construction zone bin to our collection. We identified various locations on maps, identified water and land, different modes of transportation and G is for Globe. It is all about having fun! That is what we do. The kids don't even realize they are actually learning! I love it! The best thing about playing a game.....they learn more than just numbers....they learn to take turns, patience and so much more. This month we will pack our passports and suitcase for an adventure around the world. We will learn about letters G, K and Q, numbers 6 and 16, the color red and of course heart is the shape of the month. Get ready to travel the world!
