We wrapped up our apple theme celebrating Johnny Appleseed's birthday this week. We made apple pies, reviewed letters A, B and H and used links and blocks to build letters. We were also busy playing in our oatmeal sensory bin, using measuring spoons, bowls and apples. We painted with apples, the kids loved this activity! We put 3 apples in a box with red, yellow and green paint and rolled the apples to paint a picture.
Our two main books this week were Johnny Appleseed and Ten Apples Up on Top.
We used circles to make collages and learned how to make a fish using a circle and triangle.
