We have been reading the book The Mitten.  We use picture cards to sequence the story and encourage the kiddos to count!  We estimated the number of blocks that would fit in a mitten and then filled it up and counted.  
The letter of the week is Tt.  
We made green play dough and decorated Christmas trees.  We also have a winter sensory bin with snow, ice crystals and penguins!  

Process art....letting the kids create and explore through art activities without a predetermined outcome. I suggested they create Christmas Trees and gave them all the supplies needed.  They struggled in the very beginning so I sat with them at the table and gave them a few ideas when I started to create my Christmas tree! Once they got going it was so fun to see their creativity come through!
