Stars are giant balls of gas. White or blue stars are very hot while orange or red stars are cooler. Stars look like they are twinkling in the sky because of the atmosphere's distortion of our line of sight.
There are three star colors, hot, blue stars and cooler red and orange stars. We sorted blue, red and orange stars and then counted how many hot, blue stars there are how many cool orange and red stars.
