Soapy water! We went to the car wash so the kids could experience going through a tunnel and have car washed. Then they created their own car washes. We read the book "Harry the Dirty Dog" and made our own dirty dogs! We used sand and paint to make dirt and painted our dogs. Then we had a pet wash and used soapy water to clean our dogs! We set out plates and talked about what foods we like on our plates. We painted using a fork (making different designs with the fork). They all pretty much ended up brown/purple! Then they washed dishes with soapy water. Your child should be able to identify 4-5 household uses for water.
We also talked about where you can find rocks, what you can find under a rock and sorted rocks by size. They traced rocks on black paper with chalk and then cut out to make collages. The kids tried to match up their cut out rocks with the rock they traced. We played a game what's under the rock. We hid letters under bowls and they had to guess what letter was underneath. They experimented coloring with chalk wet and dry!
