Lily pads live and grown in the Amazon River. The Giant Amazon Water Lily is the largest of all the lily pads and can grow up to 9 feet in diameter. This plant is very strong and floats on top of the water. On some lily pads, a lotus flower is attached to the pad.
They were encouraged to look at the Inspiration Photo and create their own lotus flower. They used a paper plate, cup cake liner and markers.
For fine motor they were encouraged to count out six hexagons and glue in book. They were encouraged to draw any type of line.
