This Native American folktale is about birds creating a colorful rainbow with paint. Rainbows are multicolored arcs that form in the sky. The older kids rolled a letter dice, and then wrote the letter they rolled using different color crayons. We also played a game rolling color dice, used pom poms and created a rainbow.
Fine motor we created flames and Ff"s in our journals and flames. The older kids traced lines making rainbow lines. The younger kids used sheet protectors and traced lines.
The older kids used cubes to do some measuring.
