Scissor practice!! We cut a grass fringe. They also cut other pieces of paper and glued into their fine motor journals.
We searched for letter Aa as a group using dot markers and we built letters using mini erasers and snap cubes.
Our hand and finger movement practice was using cotton balls to paint. We have been reading the book Little Blue and Little Yellow by Leo Lionni. Little blue and little yellow are best friends. One day they couldn't find each other and when they finally reunite, they hug and hug until they become green! We used play dough and paint to mix colors. Each child had a yellow and blue play dough ball and they had to use their hands to squish and squeeze the two balls together until it became green! We also explored mixing colors as a group!
