Fossils are preserved remains of plants and animals. If it were't for fossils, we wouldn't know about dinosaurs. Scientists have decided that to be considered a fossil the remains have to be at least 10,000 years old! During this Invitation to Create, children designed their own fossil stamps with a lid, sticker adhesives and paint.By creating their own artistic tools, children can be inspired to use other materials to make fun and inventive art.
