Letter of the week Oo
And finally, we had some beautiful weather and spent some time at the park!
This week played in the sand, dug for dinosaur bones, played with play dough and brushed T-Rex's teeth with special dinosaur toothpaste! Did you know that some dinosaurs had as many as 900 teeth? Most dinosaurs had grinding teeth or nipping teeth for eating plants. T-Rex had the biggest teeth! They say some were the size of bananas. We also learned that dinosaurs could replace their teeth over and over, unlike us we only have our baby teeth and then our adult teeth. We put paper, paint and four spiky balls in a container. Each kiddo picked the color of paint(s) they wanted and then shook the balls to splatter paint on the paper. Once dried, we cut out dinosaurs. They turned out really cute!
