Today we talked about siblings; brothers and sisters who share the same parent(s). We had a fun discussion about our families and the special people in them. Each child received a blank puzzle and was encouraged to draw their family. The results were amazing, and the children were so proud of their creations!
In our fine motor journals, we practiced making red circles, coloring a circle (the kiddos that know how to use scissors cut out their circles) and used stickers for a little extra fine motor practice.
For tabletop math, the children used people counters, crayon counters, and cookie counters to explore counting. It was a hands-on way to build early math skills while keeping learning playful and engaging.
