A forest contains many different kinds of trees, plants and animals. They are home to many different species! During this Invitation to Create, the children used paint and napkins to create a forest collage. They made decisions on how to illustrate or add branches, leaves, and apples to their design. They also discussed what animals might live in their forest. Using unique and various materials to create open-ended art allows children to express their creativity and ideas.
For fine motor, they tore or cut paper to glue and make an apple. They colored letter Mm and glued into their journals.
I made a rice sensory bin with people, houses and a scoop for them to play and imagine!
