Today, our little learners explored the world of beavers—did you know they’re large rodents who use their strong teeth to cut down trees and build dams? They made their own beaver puppets to go along with our beaver theme!
During math time, we built with sticks. The children took turns rolling a die, counted out the same number of sticks, and placed them in play dough We also created the letter V using sticks and popsicle sticks, turning learning into hands-on fun!
For literacy, we practiced writing V in our journals—comparing it to an ice cream cone and topping it off with a dot sticker "scoop"! 🍦 Then we made V’s with Q-tips (everyone picked pink, of course!).
So much creativity and learning packed into one day!
